Donnie Womble, Investigator
Donnie Womble has over twenty years experience in criminal and civil investigations. He began his career in investigations with the Leeds Police Department in Leeds Alabama in 1985. He achieved the rank of Detective Sergeant in 1989 and later obtained certification as an evidence technician, and crime scene photographer from Jefferson State Jr. College. He was also certified in advanced arson investigation at the Alabama State Fire College in Tuscaloosa Alabama. His assignments as an investigator with the Leeds Police Department involved any felony case ranging from simple theft to homicide, death cases including traffic fatalities and fire related events that caused personal injury or serious damage to property. He was also assigned as an agent to The 30th Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force for a period of one year.
Donnie became affiliated with the Ragsdale firm in 1994 where he worked as an investigator in a wide range of civil cases involving personal injury, fraud, civil rights and environmental issues. He served four years on the Leeds City Council during his employment with the firm and later took a three-year sabbatical to become the first City Manager for the City of Leeds.
